Joseph goes to Bethehem

2:1 [hgb] 当那些日子、该撒亚古士督有旨意下来、叫天下人民都报名上册。
[lzz] 当那些日子、有诏谕从该撒亚古士督传出来，叫普天下都受户口的登记。
[kjv] And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
[bbe] Now it came about in those days that an order went out from Caesar Augustus that there was to be a numbering of all the world.

2:2 [hgb] 这是居里扭作叙利亚巡抚的时候、头一次行报名上册的事。
[lzz] 这是头一次的户口登记，是居里扭做叙利亚巡总督（原意为『皇省长』）的时候举行的。
[kjv] (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
[bbe] This was the first numbering, which was made when Quirinius was ruler of Syria.

2:3 [hgb] 众人各归各城、报名上册。
lzz] 众人都去登记户口，各归各城。
[kjv] And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
[bbe] And all men went to be numbered, everyone to his town.

2:4 [hgb] 约瑟也从加利利的拿撒勒城上犹太去、到了大卫的城、名叫伯利恒、因他本是大卫一族一家的人．
[lzz] 约瑟、因他本是大卫一族一家的人、也从加利利、由拿撒勒城、上犹太去，到了大卫的城名叫伯利恒。
[kjv] And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
[bbe] And Joseph went up from Galilee, out of the town of Nazareth, into Judaea, to Beth-lehem, the town of David, because he was of the house and family of David,
