西面祝福耶稣 Simeon blesses Jesus
1:25 [hgb] 在耶路撒冷有一个人名叫西面．这人又公义又虔诚、素常盼望以色列的安慰者来到、又有圣灵在他身上。
[lzz] 当时在耶路撒冷有一个人名叫西面；这人又正义又虔诚，素来期望着以色列之受安慰，且有圣灵在身。
[kjv] And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon;
and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of
Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
[bbe] And there was then in Jerusalem a man whose name was Simeon; and
he was an upright man, fearing God and waiting for the comfort of
Israel: and the Holy Spirit was on him.
2:26 [hgb] 他得了圣灵的启示、知道自己未死以前、必看见主所立的基督。
[lzz] 他得了圣灵的谕示，说他还未见主所膏立的基督以前，必不见死。
[kjv] And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should
not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.
[bbe] And he had knowledge, through the Holy Spirit, that he would not
see death till he had seen the Lord's Christ.
2:27 [hgb] 他受了圣灵的感动、进入圣殿．正遇见耶稣的父母抱着孩子进来、要照律法的规矩办理。
[lzz] 他在圣灵感动中进了殿，耶稣的父母正抱着孩子耶稣进来，要照律法的成规办理他的事。
[kjv] And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents
brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,
[bbe] And full of the Spirit he came into the Temple; and when the
father and mother came in with the child Jesus, to do with him what was
ordered by the law,
2:28 [hgb] 西面就用手接过他来、称颂 神说、
[lzz] 西面就把孩子接到手臂中、祝颂上帝说∶
[kjv] Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
[bbe] Then he took him in his arms and gave praise to God and said,
2:29 [hgb] 主阿、如今可以照你的话、释放仆人安然去世．
[lzz] 「主宰阿，照你应许的话、如今你释放你奴仆安然而去了；
[kjv] Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to
thy word:
[bbe] Now you are letting your servant go in peace, O Lord, as you have
said;
2:30 [hgb] 因为我的眼睛已经看见你的救恩、
[lzz] 因为我已亲眼看到你的拯救，
[kjv] For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
[bbe] For my eyes have seen your salvation,
2:31 [hgb] 就是你在万民面前所预备的．
[lzz] 就是你所豫备在万族之民面前、
[kjv] Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
[bbe] Which you have made ready before the face of all nations;
2:32 [hgb] 是照亮外邦人的光、又是你民以色列的荣耀。
[lzz] 对外国人做启示的光、又做你民以色列之荣耀的。」
[kjv] A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people
Israel.
[bbe] A light of revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your
people Israel.
2:33 [hgb] 孩子的父母、因这论耶稣的话就希奇。
[lzz] 孩子的父亲和母亲、对所说关于他的事、正希奇的时候、
[kjv] And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were
spoken of him.
[bbe] And his father and mother were full of wonder at the things which
were said about him.
2:34 [hgb] 西面给他们祝福、又对孩子的母亲马利亚说、这孩子被立、是要叫以色列中许多人跌倒、许多人兴起．又要作毁谤的话柄．叫许多人心里的意念显露出来．你自己的心也要被刀刺透。
[lzz] 西面就给他们祝福，对孩子的母亲马利亚说∶「看吧，这孩子被设立、必使以色列中许多人跌倒、许多人复起，也必做辩论的对象，将许多人心里的意念揭露出来；就是你自己的心、刀剑也要扎透。」
[kjv] And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold,
this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and
for a sign which shall be spoken against;
[bbe] And Simeon gave them his blessing and said to Mary, his mother,
See, this child will be the cause of the downfall and the lifting up of
great numbers of people in Israel, and he will be a sign against which
hard words will be said;

[kjv] (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the
thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
[bbe] (And a sword will go through your heart;) so that the secret
thoughts of men may come to light.
